Winter temperatures are so low that many pumps are out of service. At this time, be sure to overhaul and maintenance. The following is the maintenance content:
- After the pump is stopped, the water in the pump and pipeline should be drained and the external soil cleaned. Prevent icing and pipe damage.
2, pump bottom valve, elbow and other cast iron parts, should be cleaned rust, and then coated with anti-rust paint, and then coated with paint. After drying, put into the equipment room. Store in a dry and ventilated place.
- Some stainless steel gear pump driven by belt is cleaned and dried with warm water after the belt is removed. Hang in a dry, sunless place. Do not, under any circumstances, stain the belt with oil, diesel, or gasoline. Do not apply rosin and other sticky substances.
4, check ball bearings, such as inner and outer sleeve wear, open-motion, ball wear or spots on the surface should be replaced. The available gasoline or kerosene that does not need to be replaced will clean the bearing, butter it, and reinstall it.
5, check the impeller and jaw coupling of the water pump, whether there are cracks or holes. Whether the impeller fixed nut is loose. Repair or replace if damaged. If the impeller is worn, replace it with a new one.
6, pump shaft bending wear, should be repaired or replaced.
- Remove the screws and soak them in diesel oil. Clean with a wire brush and coat with oil or butter.
